1.課目概要
1)This course is designed for younger adult learners in hotel and catering industry.
2)Students will learn the English needed for dealing with customers and colleagues in 
a variety of hotel and restaurant situations.
3)The course offers a straightforward approach to developing speaking and listening 
skills in the context of the hotel and catering industry. 
4)Students will be able to apply the language skills they need to their own 
situation.

2.教學目標
(1)學習目標
在完成本課程後,同學將可以獲得下列目標:
The course covers the skills of listening, speaking and reading, as well as improving
 pronunciation and building vocabulary. Particular emphasis is placed on listening and 
speaking. 
(2)學習成果
完成本課程的同學將可以展現下列能力:
A.Students will understand basic English needed for dealing with customers and 
colleagues in a variety of hotel and restaurant situations.

2.Student will improve their communicative competence based on vocabularies, 
phrases and sentences for catering industry and express their ideas properly 
in different hospitality situations.

3.成績評定
(1)教學型態
本課程以課程教學並安排採一對一或分組方式進行英文演練 
(2)評量方式
1.平時成績:40% (課文閱讀及背誦)
2.期中評量:30% (口試及筆試)
3.期末評量:30% (口試及筆試)
4.課堂要求
確實遵守上課時間 禁勿使用手機 積極參與課程討論 按時完成課堂指派之練習作業 影印資料時請尊重智慧財產權 1.無故曠課按學校扣考方式處理 2.缺席超過6次(包含任何方式請假),期末成績為不及格
